Leitech DMG (Digital Motorized Gauge)
The Leitech DMG is the upgraded version of the earlier known motorized gauge sold by Leitech.
Leitech DMG is recommended for large quantity productions needing high precision measurement. By using the Leitech DMG you can improve productivity by up to 85%!
The DMG now offers a wide range of upgrades:
- Software based torque regulation to make the torque independent of the battery capacity.
- Variable speed promotes ease of use. Especially for smaller threads.
- Module based build up reduce time consuming services.
- Maximum return speed for faster operation.
- Possibility of hanger mounting in balancer
For data transmission of measurement to a computer, the DMG offers two options:
- IBR Opto RS232, wireless. Via IBRit-rf1
- Mahr Connect ANT wireless. Via Mahr I-stick.
Leitech DMG is an integrated part of the System Leitech. You can mount a wide range of Leitech GO inserts with a special designed adapter when you need to check the thread.
The torque is of high importance, to ensure the threads are not re-tapped or damaged. According to ISO 1502 chapter 7.2.1.c, excessive force must not be used at thread measurement.
Leitech recommendations for torque are as follows:

| M14-M16 | 24 Ncm |
| M18-M22 | 32 Ncm |
If smaller sizes than M3 are required, we offer customized gauges with a lower torque. The software-based torque regulation allows us to customize the torque and/or the speed according to customer needs.
Standard measure depth is 55mm. Same possibilities for extend depth range and customize wear bushing as for all other Leitech gauges.
For battery exchange, Leitech recommend using only Keeppower 18650 3,7v 3500 mAh with safety circuit.

Leitech calibration tools
The System Leitech also represents the feature of replaceable inserts. Replacements are required when an insert is worn – or when an insert is exchanged for an insert with another specification. To ensure the high quality of measurements – the gauge has to be re-calibrated for the correct depth.
The System Leitech offers calibration tools for the safe adjustment of the Leitech Combi Gauge, the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge, Leitech Digi Gauge and Leitech Digi Speed Gauge.

Let us certify the calibration of your gauge!
All Leitech gauges can be supplied with a certificate of calibration for a nominal charge. On the certificate, the measuring results for each insert are stated, as well as tolerance limits for the standard and tolerance class employed.
The insert is marked with the serial number shown in the certificate. A gauge with a GO insert and NOT GO insert will need certificates for both.
A & B Certificate
An A-certificate provides the measured values for:
- the major diameter of the thread insert
- pitch diameter
- flank angle
- minor diameter and pitch
A B-Certificate provides the measured value for:
- pitch diameter
Leitech Special Gauge
As a supplement to System Leitech, we produce special gauges for control of any kind of holes and thread holes your company might need.
Leitech Special Gauges are available in all versions: High-resolution, Combi, Digi, Speed, Digi Speed, and Traditional Gauge.
Leitech Special Gauge System can be delivered with inserts in all tolerances and special user standards. We have many of these inserts in stock. If you have a special need – do not hesitate to contact us.

Leitech Inserts
A worn thread gauge will provide the user with incorrect measurements. But instead of investing in a new gauge, the System Leitech offers replaceable inserts. All Leitech inserts fit a special taper lock design, and are easily replaced with a removal sleeve tool.
All Leitech inserts produced with a pitch diameter larger than 0,8 mm have the crest of the first full thread on Go according to Federal Standard H28/6.
Advantages of the Leitech Inserts:
- Same inserts for all types of gauges. This will reduce your need for spare part stock.
- Quick and easy replacement of a worn out insert.
- Leitech inserts are hardened and tempered to 62 +/- 1 HRc.
- Leitech inserts are up to 100% longer than traditional gauges. The longer insert gives a more precise measurement of deep thread holes. The control of pitch errors is also optimized.
- Leitech Inserts are always produced at a tolerance as high as possible, resulting in a prolonged lifetime of the insert.

Leitech Plain Gauge
As supplement to our thread gauge system, Leitech Instruments produces Plain Gauges for control of plain holes. We offer Plain Gauges within a tolerance of +/- 2 microns.
Leitech Plain Gauges are available in all versions: High-resolution, Combi, Digi, and Traditional Gauge.
Maintenance
For these products, we offer a specially constructed removal sleeve tool. Also, we offer a special tool for calibration. Prices are available upon request.
Leitech Core Hole Gauge
As a supplement to our thread gauge system, Leitech Instruments produces Core Hole Gauges for control of drilled holes before thread tapping.
Leitech Core Hole Gauges are available in all versions: High-resolution, Combi, Digi, and Traditional Gauge.

For these products, we offer a specially constructed removal sleeve tool. Also, we offer a special tool for calibration. Prices are available upon request.
Leitech Traditional Gauge
The Leitech Traditional Gauge is a part of System Leitech. The Traditional Gauge has, beyond the normal functions of the Traditional Gauge, the possibility to have the 'Go' and 'Not Go' inserts changed when they are worn. Replacement of inserts renews your Traditional Gauge in just 2 minutes!
If a measure of the thread depth is also required, we recommend Leitech Combi Gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.5 mm/0.025".
Alternatively, we recommend the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.01 mm/0.005".

Leitech Digi Gauge
The Leitech Digi Gauge is a refined model of the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge. The Digi Gauge reveals the exact measurement on a digital screen. By using the Leitech Digi Gauge you can improve the accuracy of your measurement.
The resolution of the scale on Leitech Digi Gauge System is 0.01 mm/0.0005".
When the requirement for the accuracy is not at this scale, we recommend Leitech Combi gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.5 mm/0.025".
Alternatively, we recommend the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.1 mm/0.005".

Leitech High-Resolution Gauge
The Leitech High-Resolution Gauge is a refined model of the Leitech Combi Gauge. Besides measuring both thread quality and thread depth in one single operation, the High-Resolution Gauge offers fine scale measurement. Also the Gauge offers a locking device, which facilitates:
- locking the measuring sleeve at depth reading
- metering of threads placed in areas difficult to reach and measure simultaneously
- The locking device makes it possible to read the scale after the measurement has been done
When the High-Resolution Gauge is screwed in to a thread, the scale divided telescope sleeve is pushed up in the handle. The thread depth can then be read directly on the sleeve.
The resolution of the scale on Leitech High-Resolution Gauge System is 0.1 mm/0.005".
When demand requires higher accuracy, we recommend Leitech Digi Gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.01 mm/0.0005".
When demand requires accuracy at a lower scale, we recommend Leitech Combi Gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.5 mm/0.025".

Leitech Combi Gauge
The Leitech Combi Gauge represents the basic patented idea in The System Leitech - the capability of measuring both thread quality and thread depth in one single operation.
When the Combi Gauge is screwed in to a thread hole, the scale divided telescope sleeve is pushed up in the handle. The thread depth can then be read directly on the sleeve.
The resolution of the scale on Leitech Combi Gauge System is 0.5 mm/0.025".
If higher resolution is required, we recommend the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.1 mm/0.005".
If measurement of depth of the thread hole is not needed – we recommend a Traditional Leitech Gauge.
